With the Origin VS Wmn, Scarpa asked what a climber fresh to the sport really wants from their first quality shoe – and answered with a competitively priced model that blends the classic characteristics of an entry-level shoe with those of the high-performance range. Built on a well-established, comfort-oriented last, it's a relaxed, neutral-fitting shoe with low pressure points on the heels and toes, constructed from the same premium dual-ply microfibre used in the likes of the Instinct VS – instant comfort, great feel, and controlled stretch. That's paired with an S72 rubber outsole – one of the stickiest sole compounds available – and an M50 toe hood, the same upper rubber used across the high-performance models, for reliable traction. Whether you're smearing a macro, tick-tacking across screw-ons, or toe-hooking a volume, the Origin VS Wmn has you covered. A single Velcro strap with a high-stretch gusset allows easy entry and a secure fit from toe to heel, in a lower-volume and slightly narrower fit than the standard version.
