The Vapor V LV is a tried-and-trusted bastion of Scarpa's Balanced Performance series, with an impeccable blend of performance, comfort, versatility, and durability – equally at home in an indoor boulder gym or on windswept granite towers. Built around the low-volume FRW last, it has a slightly asymmetrical, slightly downturned profile. The microfibre upper and padded air-mesh tongue pair with opposing Velcro straps for an instantly comfortable fit and secure heel hold, while a full-length Flexan midsole partners the Bi-Tension™ rand to offer optimum support. Vibram® XS Grip 2 rubber adds traction across a range of surfaces. This iteration switches from the M70 toe rand of its predecessor to the harder, lower-stretch Ilga rubber rand seen in the Instinct series – so the shoe holds its toe point and edging precision for longer, with improved durability.
