In 2021 DMM celebrated 40 years of manufacturing. When it was initially founded in 1981 they employed 4 people, this number grew significantly over time and today over 200 men and women are in charge of manufacturing the products that climbers use on a daily basis.

Their goal is simple, produce equipment of high quality for a low price. From the very outset DMM created products for two categories; recreational climbing and mountaineering. Both these areas compliment themselves and where they overlap, both sides benefit.
